Preparation
  1. Gather all ingredients first to ensure a seamless cooking process.
  2. In a saucepan, pour the milk over medium heat while stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the custard powder with some cold milk to create a smooth paste.
Cooking
  1. Add sugar to the warm milk, stirring until completely dissolved.
  2. Gradually introduce the custard paste to the warm milk while whisking continuously.
  3. Cook the mixture over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring until it thickens to a custard-like consistency.
  4. Stir in the pinch of cardamom powder and remove the custard from heat, allowing it to cool.
Assembly
  1. Chop the seasonal fruits into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Assemble by layering or gently folding the fruits into the cooled custard.
  3. Sprinkle the chopped nuts on top and serve chilled.

Notes

For a more decadent version, add whipped cream on top. Try different fruits or natural sweeteners based on your preference.
